| Hridayam® Yoga advances consciousness by working with the evolutionary life energies in the human body. This system of Kundalini yoga has its origins in the Russian spiritual underground. It is an esoteric oral tradition of spiritual awakening connected with the early teachings of Gurdjieff, and influenced by Indian, Buddhist and Taoist Tantra (non-sexual Tantra), Sufism and Slavic Paganism. The main aspects of Hridayam® Yoga include skillfully guided meditation, breathing, movement, visualization, awareness and subtle energy work, concentration on inner light and sound, and contemplative self-enquiry.
In a guided meditative group process, students develop high degrees of self-knowledge and learn self-transformation skills. This includes many original and commonly unknown methods, such as body-based transmutation of emotion or multidimensional focusing work with the sense of self. Research shows this yoga to advance intuition, develop wisdom, improve health, increase positive emotions, inner strength and a sense of confidence and connectedness in life.
The intermediate level of Hridayam® Yoga consists of eco-spiritual work with the energies of nature and the archetypal level of the psyche. The advanced level courses focus on the non-dual Self, degrees of Union, and spiritual dialog (sohbet).
Hridayam® Yoga contributes to the professional growth of therapists, qualitative researchers, nurses, educators, and activists working with conflict resolution and global consciousness change.
